Fall's Hottest Palettes

October 25, 2016

Makeup lovers rejoice! The Master Palette by Mario and Huda Beauty’s Textured Shadows palettes are here. Like everyone else we had to have them! So, now that we’ve had time to actually use them… more than once… we are sharing our feedback and yes, they are both worth the hype.

Master Palette by Mario

By Anastasia Beverly Hills

We all swear by Anastasia Beverly Hills’ brow and contour products so we had a feeling the Master Palette was going to be good. Let’s just say we weren’t disappointed. The colors are super pigmented and blend and build easily. It is the ultimate palette to throw in your bag for a weekend away… it has everything you need. We love that there are a few matte and shimmer shadows so you can easily transition from day to night without switching palettes. The only negative here is the amount of fallout. This isn’t a huge issue as long as you apply your eye makeup before your foundation.

Textured Shadows Palette Rose Gold Edition

By Huda Beauty

When this one showed up in our mailbox let’s just say we were pretty excited. There are three different kinds of shadows included; saturated matte, chromatic pressed pearl & 3-D metal. The 3-D metal shadows are our favorite as they are extremely pigmented. They are very creamy and should be applied directly with your finger and really, really sparkle. The pressed pearl options have a finer gold shimmer and are super buildable. The saturated matte shadows are super pigmented and work great with a wet brush as a liner. This palette, like the Master Palette has a significant amount of fallout so just remember to do your eye makeup first.

The fun doesn’t stop here! We happened to get our hands on an extra Textured Shadows Palette and will be giving it away on our Instagram soon. Stay tuned by following us at @ashleylaurenme!
